WAGE RANGE

• $16.50 - $19.83 per hour

HOURS

• 10 hour shifts
• Monday - Thursday (4am - 2pm)
• Mandatory OT on Fridays 8 hours
• Mandatory OT every other Saturday 8 hours

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

• Personal Protective Equipment (including masks) are required and provided
• Mandatory daily pre-screening form
• Mandatory hand sanitizing upon entry and exit
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures in place

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Machine Operator at Spacesaver Corporation you will be responsible for operating pre-set press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch press, and roll-formers to produce products meeting or exceeding our customers quality requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform essential safety procedures on all machines
• Read and understand shop orders
• Conduct quality inspections using blueprints and measuring devices
• Report defective material
• Meet or exceed production efficiency goals
• Support and participate in assignments in other work areas

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
• 3-5 year of applicable experience
• Basic PLC/CNC knowledge
• Basic math, tape measuring and the ability to operate other measuring devices
• Good verbal and written communication

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Required to stand a minimum of 8 hours on cement floor
• Required to frequently use arms to reach above head, hands to handle or feet, and the ability to repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Required to talk, hear and specific vision abilities which include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to work in high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil & grease
• Ability to work in a face pace environment
• Ability to work in an environment that may be hot, cold, or humid
