Looking for your next challenge within the packaging industry? Come join our team! Belmark is currently seeking a Graphics Prepress Operations Manager. As a leader, you will support the growth of the department through the Trident philosophy - Technology, Processes, and People development. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the graphics operations including department growth, margins, technology advancements, employee development and process improvement opportunities. By following our company mission of speed-to-market, product development, service development and quality, we have created a company dedicated to our customers, and created a culture that values each of our employees. *Internal applications are due by Friday, March 26th, 2021* Position Overview Work with operations management to ensure the department functions in alignment with Belmark's mission of speed-to-market, product development, service, and quality. Develop department initiatives that align with the major initiatives or mission statement and direct efforts to ensure timely completion. Lead department strategic planning, department budgeting, planning and staffing decisions. Initiate process improvements, analyze process improvement ideas, prioritize and facilitate the implementation of these improvements. Ensure all department direction and initiatives increase the perceived value of the customer experience. Review with team the monthly associated metrics. Provide technical assistance and information on graphic orders to Sales, Account Services, Manufacturing and customers. Work with Quality and other related departments to investigate and review the Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) process for job pulls, customer complaints, or rejections. Work with Sales Representatives and internal departments to increase graphics sales and margins. Participate in industry training, conferences, and occasional travel with Sales Representative or Regional Sales Managers as needed. May be required to participate, and assist planning for; customer presentations, customer plant tours, press approvals, evening dinners, and other work related customer activities. Position Requirements Preferable 4 years of college with an associated bachelor's degree and/or 10 years of experience in the graphics/print industry. Ability to operate PC and Apple Macintosh computers and have working knowledge of applicable software programs. Must understand people and be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure. Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language. May be required to work some weekends. May require some overnight travel.
