Job Description

Keeping Current Matters is looking for an experiencedContent Strategy Managerto envision, plan, and produce world-class educational content that illustrates what's happening in the real estate market. The Content Strategy Manager will translate hyper-relevant housing market insights and data-driven concepts into stories that are simple, effective, and easy-to-understand. This is a player-coach role that will lead a team of content creators to deliver daily written and visual narratives to the industry while rallying together behind the company's strategy and goals.

As ourContent Strategy Manger, you will own

  • Content Strategy
  • Lead the day-to-day content development process for articles, graphics, guides, videos, etc. that are included in the KCM product offering.
  • Collaborate with the graphic design team to articulate topics for visualization, providing copy, editing, and ensuring graphics align with the written narrative.
  • Define and evolve the standards for our content to continuously enhance quality, relevance, consistency, and uniqueness.
  • Work closely with the data team to track, measure, and communicate relevant content KPIs, adjusting the strategy based on performance.
  • Editorial Narrative
  • Develop and deliver content that communicates current and ever-changing issues that impact the housing market (i.e., inventory, affordability, interest rates, current events, etc.).
  • Read and research regularly to stay on top of data-driven real estate market trends and content marketing best practices.
  • Hands-On Leadership
  • Build, coach, train, and develop an editorial team to produce world-class educational content.
  • Communicate through leadership and expertise by sharing relevant trends, actionable insights, and compelling stories internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with the KCM Marketing and Member Success teams to amplify and reinforce the insights produced by the Content Strategy team.
  • Model the KCM core values and set the example for your team to foster a strong culture.


For success in this role, you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience and a proven track record writing and editing compelling written and visual content - whether in journalism, content marketing, or through educational curriculums.
  • 3+ years of experience leading an editorial team as a coach and mentor with the ability to align the group with the company vision.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • A talent for creating professionally written blogs that are conversational in nature and backed by data and research.
  • A natural intuition for compelling content and creative storytelling ideas for written and visual pieces.
  • Ability to ideate and produce creative solutions that also translate data-driven insights into simple and effective stories.
  • A drive to stay skillful under pressure while managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.


Ideally you possess

  • Knowledge of the residential housing market and its primary drivers
  • Experience in content marketing and editorial best practices
  • Familiarity with digital CMS software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other programs (Google Drive, Evernote, etc.
