Description

ECC is seeking a Corporate Revenue Managerto join its Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the revenue manager will review new customer contracts to determine performance obligations and partner with stakeholders in Operations and Contracts to streamline the tracking process for revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Additionally, the revenue manager will support the finance team in the timely review of the balance sheet, G&A expense and unallowable expense activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and review contracts for performance obligations
  1. Gather contracts from contracts departments
  2. Send inquiries for clarification with project managers
  3. Create and maintain log of contracts reviewed and findings by performance obligations
  4. Generate calculations for recording revenue variances compared to what was booked via the regular means for recording contract revenue
  • Perform account reconciliations (in a format suitable to be used for PBC's for the year-end audit) and create journal entries for corrections needed
  • Assist with monitoring progress of all account reconciliations
  • Assist with training others on the proper format and methodology of account reconciliations
  • Assist with FP&A functions
  • Fixed Assets database maintenance and depreciation journal creation - back up to staff accountant
  • Bank reconciliation review and ensure accurate and timely recording of findings
  • Any other assignments as requested by Corporate Controller

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 8+ years working at Sr. Staff Accountant level or higher
  • 5+ years reviewing contracts for obligations and revenue recognition
  • Highly analytical and forward-looking with strong ability to execute, meet deadlines, and delivery high quality work products
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Team-driven, results-oriented player with the ability to work independently

Ideal Skills:

  • Experience with construction industry contracts
  • Persistence and resourcefulness in obtaining needed information
  • High level of emotional intelligence, integrity, motivation, and curiosity
  • MBA or CPA a plus
