Established in 2007, Professional Family Eyecare is a vibrant and upbeat practice dedicated to excellence by providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. Serving Palm Beach County, the practice offers a complete eye care experience and provides comprehensive eye health and vision exams, pediatric eye care, ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. Professional Family Eyecare is relocating to a nearby larger space with four exam lanes and a private office for the new Optometrist. A dry eye clinic is currently being established and equipped with advanced technology, including a Marco Phoenix and a Marco Equinox.

The team at Professional Family Eyecare focuseson providing patient-centered care and is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through enhanced vision. Fully suited with top-of-the-line optical equipment, the practice utilizes Marco TRS Digital Refraction, Retinal Camera, Zeiss OCT, Marco Phoenix, Marco Equinox (LLLT), BlephEx, Tear Lab, Edger, Officemate, and Examwriter. Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of optical frames and sunglasses from the optical boutique-plus personalized customer support from the Opticians who help customers select the proper frames to fit their budget, lifestyle, and vision needs.

About the Optometrist Opening

Professional Family Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist who has excellent clinical skills, patient communication skills, notices all the details, and genuinely cares about the patient experience. You'llperform comprehensive eye examinations for ocular and visual health, pediatric eye care, dry eye treatment, vision therapy, and specialty contact lens fittings. The position is initially 24-hours per week and will eventually transition into a full-time opportunity-you'll cover Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and additional days during the week. Professional Family Eyecare is looking for someone excited to join a thriving practice and work with a talented staff. The practice has significantly grown over the last five years, and the team is excited to add a second Optometrist who is ready to take the practice to the next level.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications include:

* Optometry license in the state ofFlorida
* New graduates will be considered

Preferred specialty qualifications include:

* Pediatric eye care
* Vision therapy skills
* Specialty contact lenses
