Job Description

What you will do

JCI is looking for a high-energy and experienced ProgramManager to be part of the Order to Cash (OTC) Global Program structure to help redesign our OTC processes globally. This person will work for the VP: Finance Global Order to Cash leader and collaborate with 4 Business Unit Cash Champions, their Regional Business Center (RBC) teams and Program leaders. The primary roles and responsibilities include building an integrated global workplan to ensure deliverables are set and goals are achieved in a timely and quality manner.

The OTC Programs will consist of Transition, Transformation, Organizational Design/Redesign projects across all 4 Business Units.

The role includes being a strategic partner to the program ensuring specifics of the projects are aligned, and integrated, with best-in-class metrics and design principles from a Global program management perspective, leveraging successful solutions and best practices identified and executed elsewhere in the program structure. OTC content expertise is a requirement to ensure that strategic partnership with the 4 Business Units and their program structure is achieved. In this role, you will present at and lead the Program Governance PMO progress read-outs to executive stakeholders.

How you will do it

  • Work with each of the 4 Business Unit Program Leaders and their Programs/Projects
  • Manage this OTC project portfolio and ensure tracking and analytics are performed in a systemic manner.
  • Assess projects are meeting best-in-class goals (financial & operational) and provide guidance or direction when projects deviate from the high-degree of quality needed to be sustainable
  • Assure the integration of the activities and teamwork across all projects, including the HR, IT and other support functions.
  • Develop and Communicate Program Analytics, Scorecard and Templates.
  • Work with OTC leadership and define business requirements for new projects
  • Provide leadership clear & effective readouts on progress
  • When needed, risk identification & mitigation

Qualifications

What we look for

  • 7-10 years of proven experience in Project Management relating to OTC and/or similar operational Processes (e.g. Sales, Services, Installation)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related degree with relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on organization change management
  • Aptitude for translating complex topics into broadly understandable messages, tailored to various audiences
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, groups, and all levels of the organization
  • Confident decision maker that supports their approach with data and reasoning when presented with abstract plans or ideas
  • Ability to identify areas of conflict and/or contention and eliminate using industry practices/experience.
  • Professional maturity and a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • English, spoken and written proficiency
