Highway Maintenance Worker- Seasonal Summer Location McHenry Couny Division of Transportation # of openings 6 Pay Range $12.00/hr Apply Now Are you looking for Temporary (Summer) work as a Highway Maintenance Worker? We are looking for six (6) motivated individuals to work as a Highway Maintenance Worker for the summer months to perform work outdoors with occasional indoor work. This position requires physical labor which may involve but not limited to, maintenance of County roads, signs, right of ways and other manual labor work as assigned. High school kids or students are encouraged to apply. These positions are temporary/seasonal that run mid May through mid August Monday - Friday LOCATION: McHenry County Division of Transportation POSITION: Highway Maintenance Worker- Summer Seasonal SALARY; $12.00/hr HOURS: 6am - 2:30pm (subject to change) The ideal candidate must be at least 17 years old, must possess a valid driver's license, have experience in operating tractors/mowing is desirable, likes to work outdoors and must be able to handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
