Job Description

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of related application administration work experience and knowledge
  • 1 year of experience configuring servers and systems
  • 1 year of experience analyzing system failures to minimize outages and interruptions
  • Experience taking projects from initial concept through planning and implementation
  • Knowledge of and experience in application administration and configuration
  • Experience with or understanding of regular expressions (e.g., RegEx)
  • Experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field
  • Strong analytic and research skills

Job Summary

The Sitecore Engineer is responsible for configuring our Sitecore XP platform and overseeing quality across all hosted applications. This team member ensures the stability, integrity and efficient operation of Sitecore XP deployed in AWS. They apply communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues as well as maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible, or accountable for, Sitecore XP platform health, including that version updates and patches are applied
  • Accountable for orchestration with all client tenants, as needed, for any required platform maintenance or other platform-wide activities
  • Assist with setting up testing assurance that all global components developed are production-ready for all sites
  • Perform architectural consultation during new client intake to identify what existing components are applicable and what new components are required
  • Ensure documentation exists and stays current for the Sitecore XP platform and global components
  • Collaborate in bringing new client dev teams up to capability in the platform
  • Establish and maintain standards for the Sitecore XP platform applicable for all client tenants
