About Fruitvale Optometry
Fruitvale Optometry was established in 2004 and provides comprehensive eye care services to residents and families in the surrounding communities. With a full support staff bilingual in Spanish and English, the practice is able to accommodate a high volume of patients, including referrals from outside medical establishments; and offer services to walk-ins who are in need of immediate eye care. The team of Optometrists provide personalized care specializing in glaucoma treatment, medical eye care, pediatric eye care, and specialty contact lenses. The cross-trained staff supports efficient patient flow, enabling the Optometrists to see up to 30 patients daily. To help support the practice's expansion, Fruitvale Optometry is looking for an additional provider to add to the team.
This face-paced practice is fully suited with state-of-the-art optical exam technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. Advanced diagnostic testing includes Maestro OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, Topographer, and Tonoref Autorefractor/NCT. Highly customized Crystal practice management system that makes charting very easy and efficient.The optical department carries a unique collection of frames to ensure the latest styles for all budgets-plus, an onsite lab is available to conveniently serve patients.
About the opening
Fruitvale Optometry has an opportunity for an Optometrist to provide care 20 to 40 hours a week-fluency in clinical Spanish is required. In this role, you will provide full-scope optometry to ensure excellent eye health and vision care. You are passionate about your work and you're someone who can practice efficiently, relies on evidence-based medicine, provides culturally competent care, and approaches staff with a teamwork mentality.
