JOB DESCRIPTION
Wanted:
Press Die Setter for automotive seat rail manufacturing, high strength steel sheet metal forming.
Required skills:
Experience with sheet metal forming, adjusting tools in press brake operations, progressive and transfer dies to achieve required product quality.
Attention to detail in manufacturing processes with small product tolerance bands.
Safety oriented.
Quality control, product blueprint reading and interpretation of dimensional reports, familiar with using QC equipment, e. g. calipers, micrometer, height gage, variable and attribute gages, etc.
Excellent attendance and willingness to work flexible schedule.
Preferred skills:
Familiar with metric measurement system and fasteners (nuts, bolts, dowels, etc.)
Experience in tooling maintenance of stamping, forming, and punch dies.
Light machining skills (bench grinder, drill press, etc.)
Forklift license (will have to re-quality in house).
On the job training and will be provided by experienced team members due to the unique process requirements.
Progress evaluations will be conducted on a frequent basis.
