THE OPPORTUNITY

The Junior Salesforce Administrator is dedicated to maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of Salesforce based on user needs. The administrator will work closely across the organization with functional leaders, organizational teams, and subject matter experts regarding Salesforce user questions, promoting adoption, keeping current on new releases, AppExchange solutions and more. The position will perform basic system updates, use declarative development methods such as workflows, process builder, and flows, and support reporting needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • In partnership with the Director, Database Services, the position will administer multifunctional aspects of the Council’s Salesforce database and its integrated platforms (FormAssembly, Chargent, Cvent, Conga, Pardot, Rollup Helper, Spanning, etc.).
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and meet user needs
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative user needs, triage and resolve issues using Salesforce Cases
  • Support ongoing development and updates to Council business processes to effectively leverage Salesforce
  • Liaise with external vendors as needed to resolve issues, implement new updates, and facilitate communications
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve all necessary issues to ensure data quality and integrity vital to the ongoing operations of the Council
  • Perform other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant database management experience or experience in another relevant field, preferably in a nonprofit/membership organization
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with Salesforce required. Salesforce Administrator certification and experience with Salesforce NPSP preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and functionality
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases
  • Knowledge and experience using de-duping, loading, and exporting using Data Loader and DemandTools
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce permission sets, profiles, and managing access
  • Experience with DemandTools, Cvent, Conga, Form Assembly, and Pardot preferred but not required
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities, juggle multiple tasks and requests
  • Superior analytical skills; keen attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter: ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
