We have a unique career opportunity for a Civil Designer/Project Engineer to be a key member of the growth of our Michigan operations. This position has the opportunity to be based out of our Detroit, MI, East Lansing, MI, or Grand Rapids, MI office!

The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for:- Collect and assimilate data
- Perform analysis, design calculations, and coordinate drafting of project elements
- Draw design details
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
- Review mathematical calculations of others and organize calculations to be included in-design file, following project standards and as assigned
- Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
- Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
- BS in civil engineering or related discipline required. Candidates currently enrolled in an undergraduate program will be also be considered.
- Related civil transportation design desired
- MDOT experience is a strong plus
- Michigan EIT certified or licensed Professional Engineer preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform analysis and design
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
