This position is located in Eagan MN or Denton TX and part of the refrigerated trucking operations team. In this position you will be responsible for matching orders/loads with drivers and solicit freight while providing the highest quality of customer service.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Matching loads and drivers to meet customer commitments while maximizing the utilization of Bay and Bay assets, working with Operations personnel.
• Identifying trends / network balances to optimize utilization
• Solicit freight for back haul needs
• Creating and executing plans in accordance with customer expectations, driver needs and system balance.
• Accurately track, record and control the use of equipment.
• Contacting appropriate groups to resolve equipment issues in a timely fashion.

Ideal candidates:

• Planning experience required, degree in transportation & Logistics is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year relevant planning experience in the trucking industry
• Demonstrated understanding of geography and regional conditions.
• Understanding of DOT rules and regulations pertaining to hours of service. Experience with Electronic Logs
• Effective communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously, make quick decisions and negotiate for win-win situations with multiple stakeholders
• Strong problem solving capabilities and timely decision making. Identifies options including the short and long term impact on business operations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress and multi-tasking environment.
