Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in the Castle Rock and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI Asphalt Paving Division provides Asphalt Paving, Roto-Milling, Subgrade Preparation and Aggregate Base Course Placement for Municipalities, Federal, DOT, Developers, General Contractors and Private Commercial.
POSITION SUMMARY
ESI is hiring Asphalt Paving Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators (Asphalt Laydown Machine, Asphalt Compaction Equipment and Skid Steers) in our Colorado Springs CO. and Denver CO. Divisions.
Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years Asphalt Paving experience with an emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. This position will ensure and promote productivity, safety, delivery of a quality product and development of employees while protecting the company’s interest and maintaining good relationships with clients.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience: 2 years’ experience in Asphalt Paving with emphasis on Roadway and Parking Lot Paving. Ability to demonstrate success in operating Asphalt Paving Equipment
Other Requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Ability to efficiently operate on one of the following equipment or equivalent to
- Asphalt Laydown Machine – CAT 1055F, 555F
- Asphalt Compaction Equipment – CAT CB54, CB34, CC34, CW14, CB44, CB64
- Skid Steer – CAT 272D
- Knowledge of best paving practices and understanding different mix types with compaction and rolling patterns
- Strive for excellence in every project to achieve optimal results and goals.
- Possess an ownership attitude and be willing to grow and mentor other team members.
- Recognize and communicate change of conditions to Foreman
- At end of each shift, ensure job site is clean, flow lines are clear of debris and equipment is cleaned, greased, fueled and ready for next day shift.
- Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and cared for
- Communicate all maintenance, breakdowns, and damages to Foreman
- Report all accidents and damages immediately to your Foreman
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain effective communication within our organization
