General Summary

Graduate Research Assistants are generally assigned to individual faculty members to assist with their research, and the majority of the assigned duties are tied to this research. The nature of the assistance varies by discipline and can involve a variety of activities such as:
1. Library work
2. Proposal writing
3. Data gathering
4. Data analysis Specific Language Continued.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Must be admitted to the Department of Psychology Graduate Program in School Psychology
3. Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook which can be found at http://hr.illinoisstate.edu/downloads/GA_Handbook.pdf

Mandatory Physical Requirement

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Ability to effectively communicate daily, both oral and written.
2. Ability to use a computer in day-to-day work (i.e. type on a keyboard and use a mouse).
3. Ability to maintain a high level of concentration.
4. Ability to conduct or attend meetings in various locations on and off campus.
