POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba has an opening for a Production Painter our Hunstville facility! Pay rates start at $14/hr + OT and benefits.

The Painter position is a key part of the Production team responsible for an assortment of tasks within our made to order hollow metal door & frame lines. This position is filled by entry to midlevel painter that prepares the steel metal for final paint, so product is ready for shipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uses correct paint equipment setting and adjustments
• Performs daily maintenance routines on paint equipment
• Uses proper paint application procedures
• Inspects paint job in progress for quality problems, such as runs and missed areas
• Cleans paint booth, lights, and change filters
• Assists in keeping all paint areas clean and organized

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred
