The HADOOP Administrator will work on a large project team supporting the Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC) organization located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Army SSC provides capability support services to all Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems. Capability support includes system sustainment, sustainment modernization, and enhancement activities such as system design, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include functional analysis, help desk, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration management, database administration, portal and support tool management, SAP BASIS support, technical services, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.
The HADOOP Administrator will provide Hadoop administration services for all Hadoop instances within the solution architecture. Installation of Hadoop Data Platform cluster and Hadoop Data File servers. Configuration and administration of the Hadoop clusters and Data File dataflow.
- Certifications: Security+; SAP certification preferred
- Experience leading SAP application development efforts
- Demonstrated progressive experience from work as a systems analyst or programmer on various system configurations to leadership advisory roles
- Eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance
