SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer - Boatswain Mate to assess, repair, maintain, and make recommendations on ships deck equipment condition.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a field service engineer you will be expected to work under limited supervision, have strong problem-solving skills, work with foreign navies on the operation of deck equipment, precision anchoring, small boat operations and flight deck evolutions.

• Conduct Material Condition Assessment on deck equipment.

• Provide a detailed report on findings, required repair parts and recommendations.

• Provide training to the shipboard crews on Seamanship, deck equipment, small boat operations and flight deck operations.

• Dependable/reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of Deck equipment operations, flight deck operations, precision anchoring and Small Boat operations

• Hold Valid Passport and Driver's license

• A citizen of the United States

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Have previous Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience

• Must be willing to travel overseas and work with Foreign Navies

• Certified Master Training Specialist

• Prior FFG class ship shipboard experience

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing

• A Security Clearance is preferred
