SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer - Boatswain Mate to assess, repair, maintain, and make recommendations on ships deck equipment condition.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a field service engineer you will be expected to work under limited supervision, have strong problem-solving skills, work with foreign navies on the operation of deck equipment, precision anchoring, small boat operations and flight deck evolutions.
Conduct Material Condition Assessment on deck equipment.
Provide a detailed report on findings, required repair parts and recommendations.
Provide training to the shipboard crews on Seamanship, deck equipment, small boat operations and flight deck operations.
Dependable/reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of Deck equipment operations, flight deck operations, precision anchoring and Small Boat operations
Hold Valid Passport and Driver's license
A citizen of the United States
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Have previous Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
Must be willing to travel overseas and work with Foreign Navies
Certified Master Training Specialist
Prior FFG class ship shipboard experience
The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing
A Security Clearance is preferred
