Position Summary | The Center for Urban Education (CUE) at Metropolitan State University of Denver and George Washington High School are collaborating on an in-school tutoring program for the 2020-2021 academic year. The program will focus on online intervention support and credit recovery in mathematics, language arts, science and social studies for high school students at George Washington High School. |
Duties/Responsibilities | You will be expected to communicate with students assigned to your caseload and help them complete their online classes, as well as help them develop their own independent study skills. You will guide them through their course, giving support through video calls and emails, and will monitor your students' progress to make sure they are succeeding and on track to completing their online classes. * Mentor students and support them in completing their online classes |
Required Qualifications | **MUST BE A STUDENT ENROLLED AT AN APPROVED COLORADO HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION**
* Students must be in good academic standing (not on academic probation). |
