Responsibilities

The IAE's experience in data automation, decision support, and business process analysis combined with experience in applying AI, including ML and NLP, drives efficiencies in data analysis. The IAE implements data analytics and data analysis automation to empowers clients to convert time from low-value work to high-value deeper analysis like developing innovative, data-driven policies and supporting the timely, efficient delivery of business objectives across the enterprise.

    Deep understanding of intelligent automation solution sets and architectures, market offerings, and real-world applications of AI-enabled RPA in commercial and public sectors.
  • Advises on technology pairings across process discovery, automation, AI/ML and analytic tools.
  • Assists in the design and build of relational databases for data storage or processing, considering implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery.
  • Performs business and systems analysis, software changes, hardware and operating system support for RPA and AI/ML tools.
  • Drives outreach and change management strategies to increase awareness and adoption of intelligent automation across DOD, identify stakeholder needs and use cases.
  • Responsible for supporting strategic outreach and attendance at key interagency meetings and events.
  • Initiates engagement with customers and makes recommendations for whether to proceed with engagement.
Qualifications
  • 5-12 years experience advising and implementing automation solutions from design and development through launch and operations.
  • Degree in Data Science, Operations Research; Computer Science, Engineering; Physics or closely related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Preferred; Master's degree or a Ph.D. and at least twelve (12) years of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Experience with AI/ML and intelligent automation solutions highly desired.
  • Previous federal experience highly desired.
  • Deep understanding and applied experience in machine learning, mathematical modeling, statistical analysis along with computer science expertise.
  • Experience as a data engineer or in a similar role with duties that included data modeling, data sourcing, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Mastery of Python, SQL, R and related tools
  • Experience in product development
  • Experience with designing novel data analytic methods and workflows, including full data pipelines from raw data through analysis results
  • Experience in working with machine learning models and algorithms, including natural language processing (NLP)
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
