Job Description
Alacriant Inc. is a Manufacturer of Stampings and Complex Metal Fabrications located in Streetsboro and Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio.  Alacriant is currently seeking an experienced laser operator to join its manufacturing team.

Job Summary:

Operates computer controlled laser machine to produce blanks for additional manufacturing operations or sold as is, as finished parts.

Job Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints to review production specs

Determine if raw material supplied meets production requirements

Inspect cut materials produced for defects

Alert and work with QA and Laser Team Lead on production issues

Accurately complete tags associated with production to identify parts produced.

Remove cut pieces from sheet/examine for defects

Monitor laser equipment calibration

Utilize calipers, micrometers and height gages to inspect finished products

Measure parts effectively to guarantee conformity to print specifications

Perform basic maintenance on the laser including nozzle changes and the nozzle centering operation

Accurately complete production paperwork and timekeeping records

Assist Team Lead with the introduction of 'Continuous Improvement' ideas

Job Requirements:

High school diploma/equivalent

Basic computer knowledge

Overhead crane and tow motor experience/certification

Work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work overtime when required

Reliable team player
