Overview

The Sr. Enterprise Application Product Expert will be responsible for supporting the Principle Enterprise Application Product Expert in the daily sustainment of the SAP Plant Maintenance/EMSR Business areas on a large project team supporting the Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC) organization located at Fort Lee, Virginia. The Army SSC provides capability support services to all Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems. Capability support includes system sustainment, sustainment modernization, and enhancement activities such as system design, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include functional analysis, help desk, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration management, database administration, portal and support tool management, SAP BASIS support, technical services, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities (as follows but not limited to the following):

    Serves as the organizations Subject Matter Expert in the Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Material Status Reporting (EMSR) processes and the associated master data.
  • Expert knowledge in GCSS-Army PdM processes to include:
    • notification and work order management
    • goods receipts/issue and material movements
    • equipment templates and records
    • dispatching and operators' qualifications
    • equipment status reports and situation board
    • maintenance plans and service schedules
    • Equipment status reporting and disconnected operations.
  • Support to include all troubleshooting and provide functional and technical recommendations as required.
  • Required to understand the life cycle of service requests, Help Desk Tickets, change items and change requests and the full software development process.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Math, Computer Science, Business/MIS or related field
  • 8-12 Years' experience in SAP Plant Maintenance
  • Information Technology course completion in DAU
  • Minimum of eight years' military experience of operating the Army maintenance legacy system
  • Former CASCOM Plant Maintenance Capability Developer desired
  • TERP10 SAP Certification desired
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Understand, evaluate and articulate recommendations for the Plant Maintenance solutions to transfer Government requirements providing the best practice for Army customers
  • Demonstrated experience configuring SAP Plant Maintenance module in line with Government requirements as well as peer review designs / configuration in the SAP area
  • Familiarity with configuration of, but not exclusive to, the SAP iPPE, document management system (DMS), BOM, MWO, Classification and Workflow
  • Ability to write change request (CR), demonstrate and explain in detail the current solution to the enhance solution documenting the solution utilizing the Agile methodology
  • Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting Plant Maintenance business rules, functional requirements and specifications
  • Serves as a Plant Maintenance liaison between engineering, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders throughout the development and deployment process
  • Must be able to demonstrate and explain in detail the difference and benefits of the maintenance functionalities in GCSS-Army (where we been, where we're going, and how to get there)
  • Excellent communication and team skills a must and the ability to deliver on time under aggressive schedules
  • Experience with DOD ERP systems and/or GCSS-Army a plus.
  • Knowledge of or experience in multiple SAP modules (Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) (FICO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Funds Management (FM) is a plus.
  • Strong integration knowledge of MM, FIN, SD, PM, MRP and IM/WM, HR and DFPS.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, or individually as needed.
  • Excellent communications skills to be able to deliver recommendations, advice and express concerns in both written and verbal formats.
  • Comfortable with developing and delivering briefings to all levels of Military and Government leadership.
  • Excellent MS OFFICE and technical writing ability
  • Travel requirement: less than 25% potential.
  • US Citizenship and Active Security Clearance required.
