As an Analog/RF Hardware Development Engineer based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for design and development of circuits for our state of the art test and measurement instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analog/RF and Mixed-Signal PC board level design and development
  • Translating high-level instrument specifications into performance requirements at the module level
  • Creating block diagrams and schematics of designs from project requirements
  • Perform system calculations where necessary such as NF, TOI, phase noise, and power consumption
  • Managing necessary PCB layouts and mechanical portions of design
  • Prototype bring-up and debugging, and functional verification
  • Developing test specifications from test data and assisting product transition to manufacturing
  • This position will be reporting to the Project Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA

Requirements:

  • BSEE, MSEE or equivalent technical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in design of Analog/RF and Mixed-Signal circuits and systems
  • Skilled in the operations of microwave test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Synthesizers
  • Design experience with Phase-locked loops, Frequency Conversion, Filters, A/D and D/A converters
  • Experience with low noise design is a plus
  • Experience with digital designs requiring moderate clock rates a plus
  • Adept in hands-on troubleshooting of analog and RF circuits
  • Knowledge of hardware and software development processes and lifecycles
  • Expert working experience with schematic entry and PCB design tools
  • Proficient with simulators such as SPICE and Microwave Office (or similar)
  • This position will require you to work onsite in the office 5 days per week

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000- $155,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
