Description

The FNE collaborates with law enforcement, child and elderly advocacy programs to meet the needs of each individual patient and is also responsible for testifying as an expert witness in the court of law; providing education/outreach to the community at large, interfacing with medical professionals, law enforcement agencies, criminal justice, victim advocacy and external support agencies that provide services to victims of crime and violence.

Schedule: Requires 60 hours of on-call with a combination of day, evening and night shifts; 1 week of New Employee/Nursing Orientation; Two didatic classes for adult and pediatric certification with MBON. Requires 3 full weeks of training.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
Current RN license or eligible for MD RN License; BSN preferred; BLS within 6 months. FNE certification and experience preferred;Will train for FNE certification based on 2 year committment.
