About our group:

The Supply Chain Process & Analytics team is based in Colorado and has responsibility for managing, reporting and analyzing over $10B of forecasted direct material spend. This team also has a strong focus on system development to support Cost Management, Supply Chain Risk and ERP Transformation.

About the role - you will:
  • You will design a NPI demand planning process that integrates into the existing planning schedule in Seagate Supply Chain
  • Leverage your leadership skills and experience to assemble a cross-functional team to drive a new demand planning process for the Enterprise Data Systems business unit
  • Create and document current state demand planning process flows by swim lane
  • Identify gaps and bottlenecks in the current state process
  • Utilizing the collective cross-functional teams inputs design a new process and system requirement that enables a proactive NPI demand planning capability
  • Understand how the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Account Management (AM) demand capture systems work
  • Understand how the Supply Chain Master Production Schedule system operates from inputs provided by the PLM and AM organizations
  • Identify and recommend system enhancement opportunities to support new NPI demand planning process
  • Gain stronger project management and demand planning skills

Your experience includes:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems or any other related discipline and enrolled in Fall 2021 courses
  • Experience leading broad cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable with and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with project management software such as Smartsheets, Lucidcharts, Draw.IO, Microsoft Project
  • Experience developing Gantt charts for executive presentations
  • Coursework or experience in supply chain, project management and information systems
  • System architecture mapping and understanding a plus
