Welder (2nd shift, 4 day workweek) $21-$23 (with experience and with day 1 bonus)

ATACO is metal stamper and fabricator in Cedarburg, WI. We are seeking a Welder to be integral part of our team! The primary responsibility for this position is Welding but you may be required to occasionally support other areas if business needs dictate. We typically do MIG welding using fixtures and robotic welding.

The position offers a good deal of variety in your day to day responsibilities as we make wide variety of parts. There is a predictable work schedule, Monday - Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays (max would be two weeks per month). There are abundant opportunities for voluntary overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Must be able to fit, align, weld and fabricate large, heavy structures, weldments, components, and assemblies.
• May use jigs and holding fixtures where available to locate and position pieces and materials
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Qualifications:

• More than one year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Must be able to read weld prints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload

Well qualified candidates eligible to be hired at $19-$20 per hour, plus a $2 bonus if attendance is maintained and $.25 minimum gainsharing payout.

If you are a newer welder or in training, you might be eligible for hire at a lower rate until you gain experience and competency.

Four ten hour shifts per week (Monday - Thursday)

2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
