Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced system engineer/analyst with the ability to support Missile Defense System assessments in a team-focused environment on Redstone Arsenal. This position requires collaboration with personnel from two Torch-led organizations: Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (CTEC) and Sensors Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (SCTEC). The position consists of performing algorithm testing, modeling and simulation, data generation, and analysis in support of Missile Defense Agency initiatives. Support includes evaluation of active/passive sensor algorithms, target discrimination, tracking and sensor fusion performance.
A B.S., M.S, and/or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science plus 5-10 years of related experience is required. Desired experience includes modeling and simulation of optical or RF sensors, analysis of optical or RF signatures, target tracking and trajectory estimation, analysis of command and control systems, and data analysis.
Position requires that candidate meets requirements to obtain a final security clearance to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
