Torch Technologies is seeking a candidate to perform systems analysis of US Army Air and Missile Defense Systems. Analysis will be performed from the system level down to the detailed subsystem level. Tasks will include analysis of data from medium and high fidelity digital simulations, hardware in the loop simulations, as well as data collected during ground and flight test events.
Software development activities include: the creation, maintenance, and debugging of analysis tools for aiding in the visualization, interpretation, and presentation of simulation results. Analysis will include all aspects of Air and Missile Defense including surveillance and fire control sensors, target tracking and extrapolation algorithms, fire control algorithms, and battle management algorithms. Analysis will require expertise in all or some of the following: interceptor missile technologies including IR and RF seeker designs and signal processing, guidance and control algorithms, navigation technologies, aerodynamics, mass properties, rocket motor technology, and control system technologies.
It is essential the candidate be a team player capable of integrating with acollaborativemulti-contractor/government work environment as well as be able to perform independently on assigned tasks.
No travel is anticipated with this position.
Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
