As a marketing sales representative for southern
Mississippi,
you'll work closely with independent agencies to assist with building and
strengthening their book of Progressive business. Ideal candidates will make use of their
strong interpersonal skills while influencing agencies within their territory
to market Progressive services and products, while also providing marketing
strategies. Additionally, you'll have
the opportunity to prospect for new agencies in the territory. We'll help you in reaching these goals by
providing a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and company card.
Territory
includes: Jackson, Biloxi, southern Mississippi, and surrounding communities.
Candidates must be able to travel to and meet with all agencies within this
territory.
Must-have
qualifications
- Bachelor's
degree in Business or related field of study (Marketing, Business Management)
and three years of outside business to business sales experience
- Instead
of a degree, five years of outside business to business sales experience or five
years of experience in the property and casualty field
- Compliance
with Progressive's driving standards and/or policy
- Valid
driver's license and auto insurance
