As a senior category manager, you will provide sourcing and procurement support to all Progressive Business Units for the newly created Data Category. You will play a critical role in developing category strategies and driving results. Our team is responsible for managing strategic vendor partners who provide data essential to Progressive. This is an exciting time to join our organization as we are going through an Enterprise Procurement transformation and this role will support the newly created Data category. Must have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships

Preferred skills

• Experience with vendor and contract management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); strong leadership skills
• Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
• Strategic planning and strategy development
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once while working independently with minimal direction
