Location:Southfield, MI

As a member of the Core Electronics team, the Systems Manager will be responsible forleadership in driving cross discipline teamwork and collaboration from a holistic Systems perspective driving Systems Architecture, Requirements Engineering and Test for Body and Body Domain Control Modules, Zonal Control, Power Distribution Modules and Intelligent Seating Systems.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and mentor strong and cohesive systems engineering team
  • Ensure systems engineering activities execute on time, on budget according to customer technical requirements and Lear Global development processes
  • Perform estimations for projects (schedule, systems resource and tools)
  • Supervise risk management activities for System Requirements, System Architecture, System Integration and Validation testing
  • Oversee management and moderation of System FMEA meetings

Your Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering/Computer Science discipline
  • 10+ years work experience in automotive engineering
  • Focus on systems engineering process
  • Multi discipline knowledge and vision
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with Global Engineering Teams

Bonus If You Have:

  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • Experience with ECU hardware and embedded software development
  • Product knowledge in the Body and Seating domain
