May Institute is an award-winning nonprofit organization that provides educational, rehabilitative, and behavioral healthcare services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, brain injury, mental illness, and behavioral health needs. May Center for Adult Services is looking for anAssistant Program Coordinatorto assist in overseeing the administrative and clinical functions of our residential group home based out ofAttleboro, MAserving adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure the quality of the program when the Program Coordinator is not available, by coordinating the daily activities and programs for all the consumers
  • Provide the consumers with an intensively therapeutic program designed to enhance community acceptability and increase independence
  • Provide individualized treatment procedures by assessing the consumer's skills
  • Develop and implement annual goals for each consumer
  • Assist consumers in the day to-day maintenance of their environment
  • Assist the Program Coordinator with individual medical and healthcare provider appointments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 3 years of experience
  • Previous supervisory experience in human services
  • Med certification strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license
