Job Responsibilities: | |||||||||||||
To receive, process, inventory and ship Special Surplus, New Goods, and store supplies to stores. To assist in maintaining the warehouse storage area and to provide additional clerical support to the retail and donated goods program. A. Performs shipping and receiving function for the Special Surplus donation program to include, but not be limited to: Defaces/delabels Special Surplus merchandise according to procedures; separates items into designated hampers; records items on shipping invoices; completes all paperwork; packs off-season items for storage. B. May completes store supplies orders to include, but not be limited to: Orders, receives, ships store supplies such as bags, pin tickets, pricing gun labels, cleaning supplies, paper goods, office supplies. Completes all necessary paperwork. C. Assists in the maintenance of storage warehouse area to include Special Surplus and seasonal goods. Performs material handling in the storage of those items. D. May assist with other duties when necessary such as sorting, wares processing, hang up, etc. Adheres to all Kaizen procedures. E. Performs all duties safely and utilizes proper safety procedures and equipment in performing those duties. F. Reports any problems or concerns to Supervisor. |

Job Qualifications: | |||||||||||||
High School graduate plus one-year experience in shipping and receiving. Must be able to type and use a computer and possess good math skills. Knowledge of Windows program preferred. Must have good communications skills. Ability to stand, bend, stoop for a full shift.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to work beyond normal schedule as necessary. |

Salary Range $12.00 to $13.20 based on experience. Must be able to work days. |
