General SummaryIn anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the School of Music maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time, non-tenure-track teaching positions. Illinois State University is located in Normal/Bloomington, Illinois, twin cities with a combined population of 167,000. The University enrolls approximately 21,000 students. The School of Music, one of three schools within the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts, has an enrollment of 400 music majors: 330 undergraduate and 70 graduate students. The School of Music has 50 full-time faculty and 50 graduate assistants.
Required Qualifications1. Master's degree in a relevant field.
2. Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
3.
