In the role of Consumer Sales Specialist I working in Waukesha, you will act as the first point of contact for consumers interested in scheduling an appointment to receive a quote from an authorized Generac dealer. Provides consumers support by answering questions, addressing concerns, overcoming objections, and encouraging a scheduled appointment as appropriate. 
 
Responsibilities:
Schedules all residential backup power free-quote appointments with authorized dealer/installer base.
Communicates with consumers through inbound and outbound calls, online chat, and email.
Provides consumer with appropriate product information for all residential products.
Accurately documents all consumer interactions, using CRM, for ongoing follow up and sales insight.

Minimum Qualifications: 
Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
1 year related experience within a Sales, Retail, Marketing or Customer Service environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field

Physical demands: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
