Versum Materials is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. This position could be based in Tempe, AZ.

The Field Service Technician supports the Delivery Systems and Services team located at one of our strategic hubs; Tempe Arizona, Hillsboro Oregon, Austin Texas.

The Technician should enjoy travel and the excitement of building their technical skills on a highly diverse set of equipment, across a large customer base. As part of this career you will have the opportunity to work with the technology leaders in Semiconductor Delivery Systems. Candidate must be highly motivated, self-sufficient and must have exceptional communications skills. A large portion of your job will be focused on performing every task with a focus on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.

The Ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of all Versum Materials specialty gas and chemical products, delivery systems equipment, and monitoring systems, including design theory. AP-11 experience a plus. Must demonstrate an expert proficiency in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and system troubleshooting.

Duties/responsibilities include:
- Coordinate internal and external projects- Install, facilitate, and start-up high purity gas equipment
- Provide technical support during operation
- Development of new specifications for on-site operating procedures as required
- Diagnose and troubleshoot specialty gas, PCD and BCD equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-3-5 years' experience with gas/chemical systems in an ultra-high purity Operation
-Strong Technical Aptitude
-Excellent Communication Skills
-Possess analytical troubleshooting skills-MS Office Proficiency
-High school diploma required.
-Technical school or Military training in related fields preferred.
