The Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice, under the guidance of a journeyman, performs skilled electrical and instrumentation maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment associated with a paper manufacturing facility located in Rhinelander, WI.

Requirements

  • Earned credits in an electromechanical, electrical engineering technology or elecrical system maintenance program AND/OR on-the-job experience
  • Technical diploma or associates degree preferred
  • Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
  • Respond to emergency call-ins (in accordance with the labor contract)

Responsibilities

  • Must follow Ahlstrom-Munksjo's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
