Job Description
Mechanical Engineer

A progressive and growing consulting engineering firm, specializing in HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing Design, MEP Associates, LLC, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, PE to join the team in our Rochester, MN office.  This position will require providing technical leadership for the creation of construction drawings and specifications, existing system studies and master planning efforts.  Qualified candidates will meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors and others to address engineering issues to develop effective working relationships. 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a PE Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 or more years experience in mechanical systems design for commercial, educational, and medical or health care building applications.
  • Knowledge in the design of multiple HVAC systems.
  • Ability to do load calculations.
  • Fluency in Revit, Microsoft Office products, and various engineering software tools.
  • LEED status desirable. 
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
