The Information Technology Intern will participate in experiences to gain professional skills and experiences as a member of the IT department with responsibility for certain deliverables. The Intern will also have opportunities to interact with interns with other departments, and have interaction with senior management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist team with project implementation, trouble shoot and help develop solutions.
Develop skills to communicate with other IT professionals.
Perform Special Projects.
Assist with Help Desk roles and responsibilities.
Document issues and assist with resolution.
Participate in Manager 1-on1 meetings to reinforce learning experience, as well as senior management interaction.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills: express ideas and convey technical information verbally and in writing. Ability to read, interprets, and comprehends procedures and training materials.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and move quickly through assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups to manage workload.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be enrolled in a college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
The internship will start in June 2020 and conclude in August 2020.
