The role involves RTL performance analysis and microbenchmarking for the Infinity Fabric (Interconnect) IP.
The co-op engineer will work closely with the architecture, design and modeling teams working on
high-performance SOC interconnect designs in both the pre- and post-silicon phases of product development.
He or she will work on microbenchmarking plans at the IP level, and support performance debug at the SOC
level. The role requires familiarity with computer architecture concepts, including cache coherency, pipelining,
etc. Prior exposure to memory system performance concepts is preferred.
