Job Description
SEA CORP in Middletown, RI is seeking a Computer Specialist to assist with development of Lifecycle support strategies such as Commercial Off-the-Shelf computer servers and networking components.

Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) is a veteran-owned business, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Job Summary:
This position will require the incumbent to be able to identify obsolete components and potential replacement components necessary to maintain reparability and serviceability of the fielded assemblies. Software build control necessitates clear identification of BIOS versions/configurations, firmware, and drivers required for lower level components. Must be familiar with network configuration, setup, integration, performance monitoring, testing of high-performance servers along with other IT components. 

Duties will include review, use, and/or accomplishment of the following:
  • Maintenance and Repair Analysis
  • Survey and correspondence with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and suppliers for commercial computer components
  • Development of Navy Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and/or change documents
  • Firmware and driver version review, updates, and configuration analysis
  • Performance monitoring and testing
  • Specification compliance and interface verification testing
  • Identification of interface adapters that may be required
  • Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs)
  • Level-of-Repair Analysis
  • Review of Supplier and Original Equipment Manufacturer documentation to determine and isolate detailed component-level configuration definitions
  • Review and/or development of component, standalone assembly, interface, and system-level tests
  • Development of installation control drawings and support of Technical Data Packages (TDP)
  • Pursuit of CompTIA A+ Certification and follow-on requirements as required for DoD Cybersecurity Workforce under the DoD 8570.01-M 
  • Laboratory and shipboard installation and testing
  • Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability Analysis
  • Fault Localization and Troubleshooting (FLTS)
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in computer-related field required; however, an Associate’s degree will be considered where more extensive experience and aptitude is evidenced.
Strong experience with service, support, assembly, integration and test of computer components and servers assemblies.  Willingness to travel.
U.S. citizenship and a current Secret level DoD clearance is required.
