Job Description

Summary 

Plan and execute barge and boat schedules within assigned river segment Identify short-term power needs for assigned river segment. Provide area planner with daily activity forecast and validate current plan. Provides functional direction to Traffic Assistant activities in assigned river segment. Provide barge status, days in status, tow slot utilization within assigned river segment Manage vendor activities within assigned river segment with a focus on generating fleet speed and barge capacity. Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations. Initiates process improvements on workflow to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Perform other duties as assigned
