1. Position Summary: The Program Administrator, PSA, will work as part of a team in supporting three committees that oversee the American National Standards (ANS) process and ANSI's International Procedures: the ANSI Board of Standards Review (BSR), ANSI Executive Standards Council (ExSC) and ANSI Appeals Board. This includes work in support of the standards developer and U.S. TAG to ISO accreditation programs, the standards developer audit program, PSA records management (hard copy and electronic), issuance of ANS-related notifications and daily data management through FileMaker (FM).
The procedures that govern this work include: 1) ANSI Essential Requirements: Due process requirements for American National Standards (www.ansi.org/essentialrequirements); 2) ANSI International Procedures (www.ansi.org/internationalprocedures); and 3) Operating Procedures of the ANSI BSR, ANSI ExSC and ANSI Appeals Board, respectively.
Interface with and support the members of the ANSI BSR, ANSI ExSC and ANSI Appeals Board
Interface and provide excellent customer service to 240 ANSI-Accredited Standards Developers (ASD) and 230 ANSI-Accredited U.S. Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) to ISO
Review documentation submitted to PSA by ASDs in support of the approval of documents as American National Standards (ANS) and prepare it for review by the ANSI BSR
Enter data into PSA's FileMaker system
Print, organize and manage PSA hard copy records and electronic files
Work with ASDs to schedule audits on a routine cycle
Assist with the review of accreditation and audit documentation, including procedures, data, excel charts, etc., and perform related work
Issue ANSI approval and other notices through FileMaker
Manage public notices and website sections for ANS under Continuous Maintenance and Provisional ANS (see ANSI Essential Requirements)
Manage committee balloting processes: issuance, vote tracking and analysis
Assist with Annual Compliance processes for ASDs and TAGs
Develop and maintain model communications for routine use in response to public inquiries
Manage PSA SharePoint sites and social media presence
Work cooperatively with all other departments in ANSI

Limited travel, as needed
4. Education and Training
Bachelor's degree with one year or more work experience (or equivalent work experience)

Ease with interacting with all levels and types of inquirers: public, ANSI Members, administrative staff, advocates, executives, etc.
Interest in reading and assessing complex documents

Familiarity with Microsoft office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Familiarity with FileMaker a plus but not required, though must be comfortable learning new software
Interest in making a long-term commitment to learn all aspects of the PSA Department's work
