Center Point DAAC is currently recruiting for a full time Assessment Specialist.

Qualifications:

• Alcohol and Drug Certification (California State Approved)
• Three years of program and case management with two years in a supervisory roll
• Knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction, and the effects of the associated stigma, trauma, STD’s, HIV/AIDS, and other collateral issues
• Ability to do data entry into various electronic systems
• Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility and reliability
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive screenings and assessments to determine program eligibility
• Participates in the supervision of the team and provides training on evidence based practices and strategies
• Conducts outreach with referring agencies, outreach groups, advisory groups and members of various at risk communities
• Coordinates with medical service providers to ensure clients receive all required medical care
• Coordinates with mental health service providers to ensure all necessary care and medication is provided
• Other duties as assigned
