Job Description
SEA CORP has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician IV at our Middletown, RI Facility. The position is multi-faceted with an emphasis on installations and testing Electronic Warfare systems. This position will include performing in-process Quality Assurance inspections as well as both the mechanical and electrical assembly of engineering prototypes.

Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the Navy for over 35 years.  Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the U.S. Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems.

Job Summary:
The technician will work under routine supervision and from detailed drawings and procedures.

Duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly of complex electronic warfare systems
  • Electrical testing of sub-assemblies and completed systems
  • Conduct receipt inspections and determine serviceability of Fleet-returned assets as well as electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure vendor compliance of received parts
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Inspections on new and repaired assemblies as required by directives
  • Assembly of Engineering Prototypes including providing product improvement feedback to engineers, and the completion of drawing redlines and associated process forms as required
  • Assistance in the development of Test Procedures
Education and Qualifications:
Technical School Diploma and four years related experience. Tasking requires a strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Candidate should be familiar with electronic testing procedures and Standard Test equipment. Position requires constant learning as part of a team effort to develop innovative technical solutions and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with Electronic Warfare grooming and System Operational Verification Testing is a plus.

Some travel will be required

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance is required.
