Registered Nurse (RN) – Short Term Rehabilitation
Full-time, Part-time openings for all three shifts

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
- Provides nursing care through coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern a long term care facility.
- Manages environment to maintain resident safety and supervises the resident care activity performed by nursing assistants and helpers.
- Adheres to Nurse Practice Act.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity and compliance with Nurse Practice Act.
- Graduate of a NLN approved school for professional nursing.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Nurse in Massachusetts.
- CPR certified.
- One year experience as professional nurse within last 3 years or completion of a refresher course in past year.
- Demonstrated skill in physical assessment.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to post-acute care.
- IV Therapy Skills desirable.
- Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc. of the Nursing Department and that are necessary for providing quality service.
