Job Purpose

As an Associate Project Planner for Linguistic Validation, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless coordination of translation projects, from initial client inquiries to final delivery. Under the guidance of the LV Project Planning Manager, your focus will be on providing accurate quotes, processing jobs efficiently, and maintaining clear communication channels with clients and translators. Your role is essential in guaranteeing timely and cost-effective project execution, meeting both client expectations and company standards.

The Regulated Industries division is focused on developing translation and content management solutions tailored to address the complex regulatory environment in force with premium sectors such as Life Sciences and Healthcare (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, CROs, healthcare companies), Finance (banks, asset management companies, insurance providers, fintech) and Legal (law firms, audit companies).

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

    Project Management: Proficiency in managing translation projects, including coordinating with clients, assessing project requirements, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for liaising with clients, understanding their needs, and conveying project specifications to translators effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review project details, including word counts, formatting requirements, and translator specifications, to ensure accuracy and quality in project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Capacity to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness in handling project-related challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with colleagues across departments, coordinating resources, and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Foreign Language, or related field.
  • Prior experience in sales/customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with translation or foreign language experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
