Job Summary: The Executive Assistant II provides complex administrative support for Vice President or position of comparable size, scope, and complexity. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks requiring frequent discretion and independent judgement. Acts as liaison of the executive and their office. Drafts and sends communications on executive's behalf. Manages the office of the executive to include supervision of office staff. Oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. Oversee and works on special projects.
Additional Department Summary: Performs complex and highly confidential tasks related to all areas under the umbrella of Academic Affairs.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree; OR bachelor's degree and two (2) years of complex administrative support experience; OR associate's degree and four (4) years of complex administrative support experience; OR high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of complex administrative support experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent computer skills. Excellent public relations skills. Ability to display a positive and professional demeanor under challenging circumstances.
