STS Technical Services , a leader in recruitment and staffing solutions, is actively seeking a highly skilled Airframe Design Engineer to join our client's operations in Fort Worth, Texas. Join our team and contribute to projects that demand precision and innovation within the aerospace sector.

As an Airframe Design Engineer working with STS Technical Services, you will engage in complex design and development projects, focusing on airframe components for various aerospace applications. This position demands expertise in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX and a thorough understanding of aerospace engineering principles.

• Design and develop detailed airframe 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering bills of materials.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to strict aerospace standards and project specifications.
• Oversee the entire design process from conceptualization to implementation under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and other engineering departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Address and resolve design challenges, contributing to the advancement of aerospace technology.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in airframe design, demonstrating advanced proficiency in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX.
• Strong knowledge of part sizing, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of producing detailed technical documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, especially ENOVIA.
• Background in planning, manufacturing processes, procurement, and maintenance within the aerospace industry.
