Job Description
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) seeks applicants to fill multiple computer science (CS) / software engineering (SE) faculty positions at any rank to support a new master’s program in Machine Learning as well as established undergraduate Computer Science and Software Engineering programs.

The vision of the EECS Department at MSOE is to be recognized for encouraging and supporting all our students to achieve their full potential. We expect and reward a strong primary commitment to excellence in teaching. We also value a broad range of scholarly activities including development of industry partnerships, technical research, and computer science education research. Faculty enjoy small class sizes, hands-on laboratories, and sustained professional development. The department maintains strong relationships with numerous businesses and academic institutes, which guide applied projects, undergraduate research, and curriculum development.

Significant investments have been made to support MSOE’s academic mission including the construction of the $34M Dwight and Dian Diercks Computational Science Hall that houses the SE and CS programs. Candidates with expertise in any field of CS or SE are encouraged to apply, and candidates with expertise in the following areas are especially desired: deep learning, applied machine learning, cybersecurity, AR/VR, software process, DevOps, and databases. Applicants expected to have a doctorate by the beginning date of the appointment.
